AMCO MANAGEMENT ANNOUNCES
THE FIRST EVER AMCO STAFF DAY..
16th January 2010 | Riyadh -
For the first time in the history of
AMCO, AMCO STAFF DAY was celebrated
with much grandeur and gaiety @
Safari Resort , a place reflecting
the Kingdom’s cultures, away from
the bustling city of Riyadh in a
calm and serene atmosphere.
It was an eventful day, a fact that
was acknowledged by every
participant and a new idea of
hosting such an event was welcomed
by everyone. Management
distributed to all staff a white
Polo T-Shirt with slogan
“Attitude to Achieve” started
assembling in the morning @ the
Diplomatic Quarter office and all
were transported in 3 elite buses to
the event site.
TRACCS, the Event Managers,
welcomed the AMCO team.
The Event started with a welcome
speech by the CEO, Mr. Wafic Faraj,
who offered the center stage to the
Chairman, Engr. Loay Nazer.
Engr. Loay briefly touched the
success-story of AMCO, appreciated
this great idea of get-together and
thanked everyone for their
dedication, involvement and growth.
This was followed by detailed
presentations by the CEO, then each
Unit Sales Managers and Operations
Chief , duly highlighting the
success graph of the past few years,
Year 2009 performance and Year 2010
Plans, the changes that are expected
in AMCO, emphasizing the thrust and
growth potential of AMCO that if we
have the mindset, passion, ambition,
transparency in the way we do things
and more importantly, the attitude
& desire to achieve, nothing is
impossible.
In the post-lunch session,
workshops and group activities were
conducted, where it was evident that
with team-management skills, group
discussions, ideas & thought sharing
Processes, one can reach greater
heights for himself and for the
team. Each Group’s Leader
presented their ideas for a
successful growth & how to achieve
the set targets for 2010, and each
one was unique in its own way and
some of them were really “out-of-box
ideas” , which the Management will
review for suitable implementation
to ensure that what we planned for
Year 2010 is indeed possible with
the same set of manpower and skills.
Amongst a group of 13, 3-teams &
group members were awarded with
AMCO Gold, Silver & Bronze Medals
and the 4th team that built the
tallest free-standing tower was
awarded the honorary award. In
addition, each member of the Golden
Award Group was also promised a cash
prize of SR 1000 each.
The event ended with a Question &
Answer session hosted by the CEO,
again new areas were discussed much
to the delight of the crowd; the CEO
then thanked TRACCS, the hosts, for
successfully conducting the AMCO
Day, the Workshops and other
Sessions with their innovative
ideas, this was followed by a
Cultural Event, whereafter everyone
was transported back to their
destinations.
To sum it up all, a day that
everyone will ever remember to
cherish and look back and also look
ahead with much enthusiasm to the
road to success. |
